...because hands-on, sensory play keeps little hands busy.

Little hands roll, tap, and squish—turning dough into tiny creations and big ideas. There’s no right way to play, just the joy of making something all their own.

Made from smooth, durable wood, each tool feels satisfying in little hands. The included mats make it easy to set up play—and help keep the mess contained.

With multiple tools to share, it’s perfect for siblings or side-by-side play at the table.

What Is Included In This Set?

The set includes 7 wooden tools—2 rolling pins, 2 grooved hammers, a textured stamp, a stylus, and a spatula—along with 2 mats for easy setup and play.

Does This Set come With Play-Dough?

No, this set does not include play-dough. Here is our favourite homemade recipe:

What you’ll need:

  • 1 ½ cups plain flour
  • ½ cup salt
  • 2 tablespoons cream of tartar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Food colouring

How to make it:

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, salt, cream of tartar, and vegetable oil.
  2. Add food colouring to the boiling water, then pour it into the dry ingredients.
  3. Stir until the mixture starts to come together into a dough.
  4. Once it’s cool enough to handle, knead it until smooth.

Can I Choose Between Different Tools?

You can choose between a grooved roller or a roller with an engraved beehive design.

All other tools remain the same, including 2 hammers, a spatula, a stylus, and a second roller.

What Ages Is This Suited For?

Toddlers enjoy squeezing, rolling, and hammering.

Children ages 3–5 use the tools to create shapes, patterns, and simple designs.

As they get older, they build more defined creations and use the tools for more intricate patterns.

FAQS

What Makes Your Toys Different?

Our toys are made from Canadian-sourced lumber and crafted in small batches in our Nova Scotia workshop—not mass-produced in large factories.

We focus on simple, open-ended toys that invite children to explore, create, and play in their own way. Made from natural materials and built to last, these are toys meant to be used, loved, and returned to—again and again.

How Long Will It Take To Get My Order?

Most products are made to order, so production takes time. In stock items ship within a week.

If you are ordering for a special occasion, leave us a note, and we will do our best to prioritize your order.

Can I Find Your Products In Stores?

Yes—our products can be found in select independent stores across Canada, especially in Nova Scotia.

Because each store carries only a small selection, the easiest way to access our full range—or find a specific item—is to order directly from our website.

If there is a local shop you love, feel free to ask them to carry our products.

How Do I Care For Wooden Products?

Keep in a dry, well-ventilated space and avoid leaving items wet for long periods.

Wipe with a damp cloth if needed—no soaking or harsh cleaners.

What Is Your Return Policy?

Free returns or exchanges are not offered once an order has shipped.

Shipping wooden items is costly due to their weight, and small businesses face higher shipping costs.

If you need to cancel or make a change, reach out before your order ships and it will be taken care of.

If a return or exchange is needed, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

If something arrives damaged or is not right, please let us know and we will make it right.
