This play dough set is made from durable wood and includes mats to make it easy to set up play and help keep the mess contained.
This set comes with 7 tools so kids can share with their siblings or friends.
Why Toy Maker of Lunenburg
What Makes Our Wooden Toys Different
Made in Canada
Crafted in Nova Scotia using sustainably sourced wood.Every piece supports Canadian materials, local craftsmanship, and the kind of quality you can feel the moment you pick it up.
No Right Way To Play
No instructions—just simple toys that let children create, experiment, and use them in their own way.
Less Screen Time. More Play
A simple way to shift time away from screens and into hands-on play. Whether it is building, playing, or creating, these are products that keep them engaged.
Made to Keep
Most toys get discarded—others become part of your story. Crafted from wood to be played with, loved, and passed down.
Made From Solid Wood—You Can Feel The Difference
This set includes a mix of maple, birch, ash, and pine—each with its own grain, weight, and texture. Each tool feels a bit different to use, which adds variety as they play.
Made to Grow With Them
This is not a one-and-done activity.
As your child grows, the way they use each tool changes—starting with simple squishing and rolling, and moving into patterns and more detailed creations.

Questions, answered.
Our products are made from Canadian-sourced lumber and crafted in small batches in our Nova Scotia workshop—not mass-produced in large factories. We focus on simple, open-ended toys that invite children to explore, create, and play in their own way. Made from natural materials and built to last, these are toys meant to be used, loved, and returned to—again and again.
Most products are made to order, so production takes time. In stock items ship within a week. If you are ordering for a special occasion, leave us a note, and we will do our best to prioritize your order.
Yes—our products can be found in select independent stores across Canada, especially in Nova Scotia. Because each store carries only a small selection, the easiest way to access our full range—or find a specific item—is to order directly from our website. If there is a local shop you love, feel free to ask them to carry our products.
Keep in a dry, well-ventilated space and avoid leaving items wet for long periods. Wipe with a damp cloth if needed—no soaking or harsh cleaners.
Free returns or exchanges are not offered once an order has shipped. Shipping wooden items is costly due to their weight, and small businesses face higher shipping costs. If you need to cancel or make a change, reach out before your order ships and it will be taken care of. If a return or exchange is needed, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. If something arrives damaged or is not right, please let us know and we will make it right.
We use mostly Canadian maple, ash, and pine, ensuring every piece has a natural weight and warmth that plastic simply cannot replicate.
Yes, we use non-toxic stains and food-grade oils. Our toys are safe for little hands and the planet.
